From a very young age, our minds have a limited understanding of life. Our minds like familiar, predictable patterns. This boundary helps box in our reality to make us feel more comfortable and safe. Its important that we break out of our comfort zone and experience life without boundaries. When we live life without boundaries, we awaken our awareness.
The Filter of Our Perceptions
Our brains are constantly interpreting the world around us. While our perceptions limit and filter the reality we are exposed to. By design, we typically only see and hear things that fit within our understanding and our belief system. Everything else is filtered out or judged and labeled.
In order to breakthrough self-limiting behavior, we need to open ourselves to new and unknown experiences. We need to become present in the moment and see the unfiltered world around us.
As an adult, we feed our fear and hesitate on things that are unknown or haven’t been experienced. This fear-based thinking restricts us from seeing and feeling the miracle that we are part of. The miracle that our universe is infinite and our possibilities are without limit or boundary. This is how life is supposed to be and is part of our true purpose.
The Freedom of Child’s Thinking
When we are children, our consciousness is in a mode of learning and observation. We are curious and register as many new experience as we can. In this phase of our life we have less restriction and self-limitation on our thinking. We have much less resistance to unknowns.
But as our brains store more data and we begin to adapt to our newly learned beliefs. Our adult patterns begin to shape and change us. We become less open and less comfortable with new, unknown experiences.
Even as a child, some of our patterns are directly passed down from our ancestors. We pick them up from our parents or grandparents and didn’t have a choice in the way we would see or feel certain things. Maybe our ancestors were not awakened or aware of their own challenge areas.
However, we still have the opportunity to transform these unresolved feelings or emotions. We are actually doing them a great honor to help resolve items from their life. It is now up to us since we are the living representation of them.
Tapping Into Life’s Power
Once we begin our personal breakthrough, we tend to see things a little differently. We begin to have an openness and new found acceptance of life. We understand that there is NO LIMIT to what is possible. After our awakening, we learn how to tap into the awesome power of the collective energy and attract more of what we desire.
People will begin to wonder why things seem to naturally go so well for you. The reality is that you have changed.
You adjusted your mindset and behaviors to nourish only the healthy seeds in your mind. Your mindfulness and awareness aligned your inner and outer worlds. You found happiness by accepting “what is” in the present moment. You began practicing daily to build new, healthy habits. This is how you tap into the flow of life.
For many people in the world, change brings fear due to the possibilities outside of their control or the conflict with their learned beliefs. Our brains prefer the safety of predictable patterns that tie back to the core instincts of our survival and previous memories.
However, humans possess a vital gift. We are one of the only species on the planet that can break free of this self-limiting thinking. We have evolved beyond our basic animal instincts with the gift of “consciousness“. This ability to expand our consciousness brings enormous benefit to our life.
Learning to Let Go of Fear
With all universal elements there comes a balance. We see it all around us. Dark must have light, up must have down, right must have left, positive must have negative. Instead of accepting this with neutrality, humans attach to fear, anxiety, doubt and worry to anything that sits outside of our trained beliefs.
It’s important to remember that these feelings simply come from our desire for repeated patterns and known situations. Learn to let go of fear-based thinking and feelings. Trust and be open to the infinite possibilities of life.
We can learn to let go of our desire to control and simply trust in life. Catch yourself trying to control things. Practice letting go and seeing what happens.
It takes far more energy to constantly control and think about things. Its much easier to observe and flow with life. Like lifting a weight off of your shoulders.
